This is the work of our creative studio. The Kamuzu University Teaching Hospital is a vision of new health infrastructure to help support this incredible fast growing Nation. This vision is comprised of programmatic bands separated by thematic greenery, to bring buffer zones of diverse outdoor spaces. Awnings are a unique cultural element in this tropical climate, that allows exterior circulation and communal spaces year-round.



It can be seen as a lifeline of thermal comfort, and announces the public realm of the Hospital.
